The venue’s grand rebirth was entirely powered by a massive crowdfunding campaign launched in the spring, which managed to smash financial targets by generating over 140,000 euros in contributions from more than 3,000 individual donors.

The doors of the new location opened on a Friday afternoon at 6:00 PM, though highly eager crowds of leftist militants, neighborhood locals, and curious onlookers had already begun gathering outside the storefront hours earlier.
