First Fridays on Abbot Kinney Blvd is a fun, food truck focused event with select shops open late, happy hours at select restaurants and special events in popup locations that vary each month.
Spa in the day and then have a Bonfire on Dockweiler Beach
Dockweiler State Beach has one thing no other Los Angeles area beach can offer; bonfire pits.  Load up some firewood and bring family and friends out for an afternoon in the sun followed by a cozy campfire under the stars.

2017 Summer Concert Series

This popular series of FREE 90 minute outdoor concerts is held each summer in one of the most spectacular waterfront settings in Los Angeles, Burton Chace Park. Thursday evening symphonic concerts feature world class artists appearing with the Marina del Rey Symphony, conducted by its Musical Director Frank Fetta. On alternate Saturdays, the concerts bring to the Marina stellar artists from the worlds of pop and jazz.

Venice Art Crawl – July 28th
Immerse yourself in the Venice art scene during this interactive pop-up street party that spans dozens of local venues.
They Will Skate Again – Life Rolls On – July 22nd    8am-4pm
This is our charity that we have supported for 16yrs and when you come to an event with us and LRO you will see why! A small army of volunteers comes together to make sure paralysis won’t stop kids and adults from doing what they love – in this case, shredding up the bowls at the Venice Skate Park.
Concert in the Park – Playa Vista – July 23rd –  5-6:30pm
This energetic tribute band revives the sound, style, and spirit of Gwen Stefani and No Doubt at the pinnacle of 90’s OC ska.
OLD FASHION DAY IN THE PARK  – Sunday July 23rd   10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A unique, free event, Old Fashion Day in the Park at Burton W. Chace Park features vintage yachts, and antique and classic cars and motorcycles. Watch ship models and modelers do their work or take a free ride in the harbor aboard a steam engine yacht. Venice Beach Festival – July 29-30th – 11am-6pm
Soak in live music, dancing, and entertainment on the beach while perusing unique and independent vendors, including fashion trucks.
Festival of the Chariots – August 6th – 10-4pm
In this colorful Hindu parade and festival, participants carry three four-story chariots from the Santa Monica Civic to Venice Beach, where at noon the Hari Krishna throw a festival with free food and entertainment.
Venice Beach Music Fest – August 26th – 11-7:30pm
Immerse yourself in live music, dancing and participatory art in the spirit of keeping Venice eclectic and vibrant.  Free event.
Abbott Kinney Festival – September 24th – 10am-6pm
Now in its 33rd year, the Festival takes place along a mile-long stretch of the world-famous Abbot Kinney Boulevard in Venice, California, arguably the “coolest block in America”. The Boulevard’s eclectic boutiques, artisan eateries and influential art galleries infuse the festival with a local flavor that makes this event unique and not to be missed.
Marina del Rey Film Festival – October 7th-13th
Fosters up and coming filmmakers by providing a positive and festive environment to showcase their films and artistic endeavors in the film market.  Sponsored by Creative Chakra Spa and Beach Dancer Films.
DISCOVER MARINA DEL REY     Sunday October 8th   11am-4pm
Traditionally the first Sunday in October, Burton W. Chace Park is the site for a celebration of Marina del Rey, known as Discover Marina del Rey Day.
This free, family-oriented festival will offer educational information on health, safety, and the environment; as well as live music and many activities, including water events, inflatables, games, puppets, and arts and crafts. Admission is free and a $5 wristband gives you access to activities. Event parking is available for $8 in county lots #77 and #4, located at 13560 and 13500 Mindanao Way. HARVEST DAYS & HAUNTED NIGHTS     Saturday, October 28th – All day event
Experience the only haunted pirate ships in Los Angeles this Halloween! Expect kid-friendly fun by day and spooky entertainment by night (recommended for ages 13+). Admission is FREE, and food is available for purchase. Parking is available for $8 in County Lots 4 and 77; pay stations take credit cards and cash. Waivers need to be signed in order to participate in activities, so minors should have a parent present to sign

Culver City Film Festival   December 4-11th
The Culver City Film Festival brings together a diverse group of filmmakers to share recent work and recognize local talent in a city celebrated for it’s cinematic history and cultural depth.  Featuring both up-an-coming and experienced filmmakers, this festival provides a venue for independent films to gain exposure.
